The 16M23 diesel engine delivers high power density, low NVH levels, and rapid acceleration response, striking an ideal balance between robust power and quiet, comfortable onboard experience. The 12M33 emergency genset offers proven reliability and exceptional fuel efficiency under complex offshore conditions, and has been successfully deployed across large container vessels in volume.

Committed to long-term zero-carbon development, Weichai is advancing clean fuel and new energy roadmaps by developing all-electric and hybrid marine propulsion systems and accelerating the commercialization of battery packs and hydrogen fuel cells.

The WHM6230 pilot-ignited methanol engine incorporates advanced technologies such as twin turbocharging, in-cylinder direct injection, and multi-point methanol port injection, ensuring enhanced reliability, reduced fuel consumption, and lower emissions. Weichai"s new energy marine propulsion system accommodates a range of configurations—including lithium batteries, methanol/diesel generator sets, and solar photovoltaics—delivering extended range, high reliability, and flexible customization.
