From September 1 to 4 local time, the prestigious maritime trade fair SMM 2026 was held in Hamburg, Germany. As one of the world"s premier exhibitions for shipbuilding, machinery, and marine technology, the event saw Weichai, alongside its French subsidiary Moteurs Baudouin, showcase a comprehensive portfolio of green, low-carbon marine propulsion solutions for global customers.

The green and low-carbon transformation is extending from the production practices of individual enterprises to the entire industrial chain and value chain. As green factories undergo an upgrade to zero-carbon factories, manufacturing enterprises face more stringent requirements for carbon emissions control and carbon management throughout the production process.

On August 12 local time, the Green Design for Sustainable Development Forum, hosted by the World Green Design Organization (WGDO), was held at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, in Switzerland. Weichai Power was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "Green Design for Sustainable Development," highlighting its commitment and sense of responsibility as a Chinese advanced manufacturing company in practicing sustainable development to a global audience.
