On June 25, Shandong Heavy Industry Group’s Weichai Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Jiangjin District, Chongqing in Jinan. Man Shengang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Tang Dajun, Party Secretary of Jiangjin District, Chongqing, held a discussion and signed the agreement. Ma Changhai, member of the Party Committee and vice president of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, secretary of the Party Committee, chairman and general manager of Weichai Group, and Zhou Yi, deputy district head of Jiangjin District Government of Chongqing Municipality, signed the agreement on behalf of both sides.

On June 24, Shandong Heavy Industry Group and ZF held a technical exchange day event at Shandong Heavy Industry Future Technology Building. The two sides focused on in-depth discussions and exchanges on technological innovation, product development, and global cooperation in the non-road sector. The Final of the first Weichai Group University Students' AI Algorithm Innovation and Technology Competition concluded successfully in Weifang on June 20-21.
