On January 8, 2025, the Lovol Heavy Industry Group 2025 Partner Conference, themed “We Are One,” was held in Qingdao. Man Shengang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Wang Bo, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee, Vice Mayor of Qingdao Municipal People’s Government, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Wang Zhijian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Ma Changhai, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, were also present.
In his speech, Man Shengang stated that over the past year, Shandong Heavy Industry Group had effectively responded to challenges and difficulties within the industry, maintaining a trend of steady progress with improving quality. He emphasized that Lovol Heavy Industry is a strategic cornerstone, a key force, and an important brand within Shandong Heavy Industry’s construction machinery sector. By leveraging the advantages of the entire group, Shandong Heavy Industry has consistently increased investments in Lovol Heavy Industry in areas such as technological innovation, intelligent manufacturing, and human resources, enabling the enterprise to maintain steady and positive development. Looking ahead, Shandong Heavy Industry will work closely with global partners to promote Lovol Heavy Industry’s initiatives on “quality, innovation, and cost reduction,” seize opportunities arising from industry transformation, upgrading, and global market growth, and strive for higher-level, higher-quality development.
Wang Bo outlined Qingdao’s industrial development landscape and expressed gratitude to Shandong Heavy Industry Group and its partners for their long-standing support for Qingdao’s economic and social development. He noted that Shandong Heavy Industry has deepened its collaboration with Qingdao, with Lovol Heavy Industry establishing an industry-leading intelligent manufacturing base for construction machinery in the city. Meanwhile, Sinotruk Qingdao has achieved rapid growth in its specialized vehicles and export business. Projects like the Weichai High-End Marine Equipment Manufacturing Center and the Weichai (Qingdao) Research Institute have been swiftly implemented. Qingdao will continue to provide comprehensive and precise services to support Shandong Heavy Industry, Lovol Heavy Industry, and their partners in rooting themselves in Qingdao and contributing to the city’s development.
During the conference, an announcement was made recognizing Lovol Heavy Industry’s outstanding suppliers for 2024, and Man Shengang personally presented awards to representatives of the honored suppliers.
Before the conference, Man Shengang met with representatives of Lovol Heavy Industry’s partners, including ZF and Lonking. The suppliers expressed their admiration for Shandong Heavy Industry’s resilience and continued growth despite the current challenges of a sluggish industry and intensified internal competition. They praised Lovol Heavy Industry’s adherence to the philosophy of “We Are One,” which has fostered close, mutually beneficial partnerships with global suppliers, creating a world-class supply chain ecosystem for the industry.
Following the conference, Man Shengang also visited the specialty tire factory of strategic supplier Sailun Group.
