Man Shengang Meets with Trần Bá Dương, Chairman of Vietnam's THACO Group

On October 17, Man Shengang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, met with Trần Bá Dương, Chairman of Vietnam’s THACO Group, in Jinan. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions to further deepen their comprehensive strategic cooperation. Wang Zhijian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Group, and Zhang Gengsheng, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, also attended the meeting.

Man Shengang welcomed Trần Bá Dương and his delegation, stating that, despite the complex and challenging environment, Shandong Heavy Industry has been actively capturing market opportunities, driving innovation, adjusting its business structure, strengthening management, and enhancing quality and efficiency. As a result, the Group’s six major business sectors are all experiencing stable and positive development, maintaining a leading position both nationally and globally within the industry. He recognized THACO Group's significant growth in recent years, noting its strong brand reputation in Vietnam. As a key partner for Shandong Heavy Industry in deepening its presence in the Southeast Asian market, he expressed the hope that both companies would focus on the present while planning for the future, aiming for ambitious goals, exploring new opportunities, and achieving substantial collaboration. He emphasized elevating the strategic partnership to new heights, fostering a stable, long-term, and sustainable relationship that benefits both sides.

Trần Bá Dương shared insights into THACO Group's business development and ongoing collaborations. He noted that Shandong Heavy Industry is not only a leader in China’s equipment manufacturing sector but also a globally recognized multinational group. THACO Group is one of the leaders in Vietnam's automotive industry, with six main business sectors: automotive, agriculture, components, logistics, real estate, and service trade. He highlighted the solid foundation and strong friendship built over years of cooperation between the two groups, stating that there is broad potential for collaboration. He expressed a commitment to expanding cooperation across more sectors, working together to seize opportunities in the rapidly growing Vietnamese market.

THACO Group also held in-depth discussions with Sinotruk Group and Weichai Group during their visit.
