Recently, a power station project in Southeast Asia, which is equipped with Weichai Baudouin gas generator sets, got through the commissioning process, and was successfully delivered to customers and put into operation, bringing electricity and light to local residents.That marks a new breakthrough in Weichai's large-bore power generation product:
one-stop power solution will be provided regardless of damp and hot environment.
Designed for daily life, office, and domestic electricity, this power station project operates in island mode and takes liquefied natural gas (LNG) as the core energy. It is equipped with 8 Weichai Baudouin 12M33 containerized gas generator sets, with a total installed capacity of 8×800kW.
In response to the local natural environment and customer needs, Weichai has deeply integrated LNG gas supply system, HV/LV power distribution system, remote integrated monitoring system etc. Under harsh working conditions such as high temperature and high humidity, the generator sets still maintain good operating condition and have been efficiently operating for 600 hours.

The power station’s good operating condition depends highly on Weichai's thoughtful service. The project is located deep in the rainforest where the environment is complex, the climate is sweltering, and there are countless mosquitoes. Weichai service engineers sweated profusely after a few minutes of working. However, they resolutely completed the commissioning service under the environment of high temperature (40°C) and high humidity, and then delivered the generator sets in high-efficiency operation to customers. Besides that, they trained customers on operation precautions with great patience, which received high recognition from customers.
