On September 28th, Weichai Group held a kick-off meeting for the campaign "Forging Weichai Brand, Adding Color to Shandong Heavy Industry". Ma Changhai, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Shandong Heavy Industry, also secretary of the Party Committee, chairman, and general manager of Weichai Group, attended the meeting.
The meeting reported the implementation plan of the campaign. According to the plan, starting from October, Weichai Group will organize a series of activities, including brand strategy upgrading, mainstream media survey and research, landing and development of Shandong Heavy Industry’s culture in Weichai, themed activity "Shandong Heavy Industry Big Family", and staff quality improvement activity "I Grow with Shandong Heavy Industry" etc., in order to achieve brand renewal, cultural upgrading, and quality improvement, and enhance the solidarity of all employees. That will inject a steady stream of impetus and vitality into Weichai and help Weichai build a world-class enterprise.
For this campaign, the Party Committee of Weichai Group put forward three requirements: First, raise ideological awareness, establish the concept of "Only when Shandong Heavy Industry develops well, can Weichai develop well, and only when Weichai develops well, can Shandong Heavy Industry go better", call on all employees to pull together and give better play to Weichai’s benchmark and exemplary role in the big family of Shandong Heavy Industry. Second, make scientific overall planning, take immediate action, conduct extensive popularization, seek truth and act in a down-to-earth manner, and do a good job in publicity to ensure the high-quality and high-level implementation of the campaign. Third, unify value and action, vigorously advocate the concept of "One Family, One Heart, Working Together and Achieving Success For Sure", focus on the main business without distractions, never keep a slack hand, always stand at the forefront and always strive for the first place, and promote Weichai to continue leading the high-quality development of Shandong Heavy Industry.
