On May 31, 2023, the final of the first Campus English Competition of Shandong Heavy Industry Group with the theme of "International SHIG, Let Your Uniqueness Shine" was successfully held in Jinan. The competition attracted the active participation of more than 500 college students majoring in science and technology from all over the country. After the preliminary and reexamination, 9 contestants entered the final.
