Recently, the 15th Annual Conference and Brussels Summit of the World Green Design Organization (WGDO) was held in Brussels, Belgium. Weichai's high thermal efficiency engine series won the "Green Design International Award". Weichai Group was honored with the "Green Design International Contribution Award", becoming the first company in the global industry to receive this distinction. Concurrently, five Weichai engineers were awarded the "Green Design Engineer (Senior)" certification by the WGDO.

Recently, an Indonesian diesel power plant project equipped with Weichai Baudouin 12M55 engine driven generator sets, with a total installed capacity of 40 MW, successfully passed customer acceptance. Under harsh operating conditions featuring high temperatures and high humidity, the project has already operated efficiently for more than 2,000 hours.

On December 10, Wang Zhijian, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, met in Jinan with Yermaganbet Bulekpayev, Governor of Kazakhstan’s Karaganda Region, who is visiting China. The two sides held in-depth talks on advancing the start-up and operation of the joint venture plant and other matters, and witnessed a signing ceremony.
