On March 3, the first session of the 13th National Committee of CPPCC was opened. More than 2,000 members of the National Committee of CPPCC listened to the work report of the Standing Committee of CPPCC. This report analyzed the work in the past five years and proposed the work in the future.

Promoting the conversion of old and new kinetic energy is just like “an old tree with new flowers”, which is a choice for the entity industry to decide the future. I believe that in addition to making efforts on the incremental, we must strive to develop new kinetic energy with focus on new technologies, new industries, new business types and new models, and also must strive to promote the transformation and upgrading of the inventories. The adaptive reform of traditional kinetic energy should be performed by the means of new production elements such as knowledge, technology and data, ensuring the continuous improvement of the equipment manufacturing industry.
The key to promote the conversion of old and new kinetic energy is “new”. How to achieve new growth from the old industry is the key and difficult points of the transformation. In recent years, Weichai Power has adhered to the operation strategy of "product management + capital operation", and has gradually formed the overseas expansion strategy of "trade export + localized production + technology output + merger and acquisition". The product structure is transforming from low- & medium-end to high-end, accumulating rich experience on leading Chinese equipment manufacturing industry to break through and go global.
The report of the 19th National Congress of CPC proposed to speed up the construction of a manufacturing power, accelerate the development of advanced manufacturing, and promote the deep integration of Internet, big data and artificial intelligence with the entity economy. As an enterprise, Weichai Power will continue to transform into high quality by virtue of automation, digitization and human-machine interaction video, and will work hard with focus on innovation. I also suggest that the government make further efforts to foster some world-class enterprises with international influence and advanced technology. At the same time, a good ecology should be provided to cultivate a group of outstanding entrepreneurs.
