The 6M12 series is a new generation of high-end engines independently developed by Weichai, compliant with China Non-Road Stage III and IV emission standards, featuring a compact structure, high reliability, and excellent load response; The 6M12 diesel engine offers a power output range of 168–264 kWm, suitable for 150–220 kWe generator sets.

Fuel efficiency: Optimized engine intake and fuel systems to maximize potential, with a focus on fuel consumption optimization in the 60%–90% load range for low fuel consumption;
High-altitude and cold-start capability: The engine achieves direct cold-start at -15°C without any auxiliary measures; At -30°C, the engine can be started reliably using air intake preheating;
High-altitude adaptability: The engine maintains rated power output at altitudes below 2,000 m; The engine operates reliably at altitudes above 2,000 m;
Adaptability: Features a mid-mounted underslung turbocharger and a specialized flat oil pan to reduce the overall engine height; Compact structure, making it an ideal power source for various generator sets
